The standard MAE port charges listed above include unlimited connectivity to your secure, private Ethernet WAN within a city or region but not between regions.
Presently to cross connect regions it is required to purchase a regional trunk. Unfortunately the bandwidth available is significantly less that within a region but this is expected to change soon. A typical example would be to cross connect a 26Mbps ring in Lae with a 100Mbps ring in Port Moresby with a 2 or 4 Mbps trunk.
Please note regional trunk between Port Moresby and Lae are a one hop (1-hop) requirement. Hagen, Goroka, Madange and Kokopo back to Port Moresby is a two hop (2-hop) requirement.

MAE Access Network TDMA Priority and Sector Contention
In addition to core network MPLS priorities for 6, 13, 26 and 52Mbps MAE services connectivity to the local access point of presence is via shared sector radios referred to as point-to-multipoint (PtMP)
For MAE services to shared sector radios the TDMA priority is set to high and contention is fixed at 1:1. Committed Information Rates are therefore equal to advertised service rates.
All 100Mbps + services are via dedicated point-to-point (PtP) bridging radios and as such contention and TDMA priority do not apply.
